dying isn't the end. It's what comes after. The boundary between the living and the dead has started to break down, and souls are getting stuck — not because of unfinished business, but because the ritual wasn't done right. Each belief system has its own rules for how the dead should look before they can move on, and someone has to make sure those rules are followed.

part cosmetics artisan, part puzzle solver. Your clients will bring orders to place. You'll filter the water, grill the ingredients, mix colors from scratch, and navigate the strict rules of whatever cult or belief system your customer belonged to. Get it right, and a soul moves on. Get it wrong, or run out of time, and, well.

Across three cities
from a dust-worn grassroots district to a thrumming trade hub and finally the polished heights of high society you'll find that the work changes. The ingredients shift. The cults grow more demanding. The color orders grow more precise. And the clock never stops.

Cursemetic started as a university project, but the idea behind it of caring about the small details, of doing someone's final request exactly right ended up meaning a lot to us as we made it. We hope it means something to you too.
